Visitor Extension Request.

Visitor Extension Request.
Hi
Advice please.................
Son applied for extension of visitors visa for further 6 months on Jan 23rd.
Still no reply from Vegreville we have tried phoning ,faxing and cannot get through either way.
I have been informed that as long as the paperwork is with them there should be no problem with him remaining here other than his return air ticket has now expired (March 6th).
What now? any advice would be great.Do we still just sit and wait or should we be doing something more? Thanks.

According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/departm....html#temp_res Vegreville is processing applications received on the 5th of Fed. So you should be receiving a response in the next week I would think. You wait.
