Default Visiting London CHC to inquire status after medicals

Hi friends

I and family underwent medicals 4 August, 2007. At the moment I happen to be in London. I am wanting to swing by chc and inquire on the status of my file.

Is it too soon to do so?

Six and a bit weeks since medicals. Often people have heard, but not always. I'd say it's a little early. If you haven't heard after three months then maybe chase them up, but six weeks isn't that long.

It's difficult to know how quickly these things get done. We waited 8 weeks before we heard. It might be worth hanging on a bit longer.

Fingers crossed, eh?

Hi, I know exactly how you feel. We had our medicals on 2nd August and after 2 weeks I had a request for another blood test, due to a history of kidney problems. CHC received the normal results on 12th Sept and now I really don't have a clue how long the wait should be. It only took them 2 weeks to look at the first lot so in theory it should take the same time to look at the last results. I am itching to contact them. Please let me know what you decide to do?
Thanks
Angela

The general consensus seems to be to wait a bit longer. So, I think I'll hang in for another couple of weeks. Having lived in multiple countries over the last several years may be a factor as it may delay completion of security checks. The last things I'd want is to upset the officer at chc. But I'll let you know how it goes down!
