Default Visas today and big thanks

Hello

So we were very fortunate to be able to collect our visas today. For us the process has been relatively simple, and remarkably speedy - although it doesn't always feel that way. I've attached a photo - just for fun!

The house sale is going through and now we hope to land in Vancouver in June or July. I guess that we've done the boring bit and now we do the scary bit!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone on British Expats for all the help, reassurance and advice we've received. It's been invaluable. And it was good to meet Robin, Humanist and the others in the line outside the High Commission too.

Particular thanks too to Christmasoompa - who has infinite patience, a kind way with words and makes this forum work so well.

So good luck to all those who are waiting - it's so worth it in the end!

Thanks guys.

Funky Florist - Mr-G says he was standing behind you in the original line today, before it got split up. He was dropping off

Congrats on picking up your visas! Good luck with the move

Shucks. Not sure that Mr Christmasoompa would agree with you about the 'infinite patience' though!

Fab photo, congrats to both of you.

Hi

Nice to see you yesterday at pick up.
I spent a few minutes looking at the nice "shiny visas" as Robin put it 2 weeks ago when we met.

You're right, it's time for the scary bit now!!
The reality of it all is gradullay dawning on us!

We have to start with the compiling our Goods to Follow list.

All the best with the house sale and all other plans towards the move.
