Visa Photos
Hey all ..
I have all my paperwork .. flights booked .. landing sorted .. but I'm slightly panicing about something !
With all my paperwork I sent two different sets of photos for my visa with a note asking them to choose the ones they thought best - I got all my paperwork back and my shiny visa with a note to say neither set of photos were acceptable and I should take a new set with me when I land so the immigration officer at the border can stamp it etc !
So after much searching I found a professional photographer who uses specialist visa software to produce photos for immigration purposes. He and I spent two hours today meticulously shaping and readjusting the image to fit with Canadian specific photo requirements. The specialist software did what it's supposed to do ... BUT .. checking the measurements of the photo there was a slight problem .. the outside measurements were spot on .. but the measurement from my chin to the 'crown' was out by nearly 2mm. We measured it again and depending where we thought the 'crown' of my head was the measurement fluctuated but 1.5mm
Not a major problem but when we checked again the written advice from the embassy - the measurements were different again ! One said .. 25mm to 30mm chin to crown .. the other letter I had said .. 25mm to 35mm chin to crown !!
Now my question is .. are the border agency officers going to have rulers measuring my face before they approve the picture as I stand in line ?
I'm trying to keep this in perspective but because both sets of previous pix were rejected I've gone into panic mode !
Anybody got any ideas or previous experience of something similar ?

Have you got big hair???
Both my sets of paperwork stated 25-30mm. I sent same photos that were used for initial application and were fine, so if they reject those they are crazy!

If you happen to see a woman with a sort of Picasso face walking around Vancouver .. it's me so do say hello !
Leaving it in the hands of the officials at Vanc International now !

Well I only hope they have other facilities then .. better make sure I take a hairbrush .. after a near 10 flight .. can't guarantee I'll be looking my best !
Thank you for the input though ...
