Default Visa options

I am a european passport holder form a visa waiver country. I am
applying under skilled class immigration process and have a question
about other alternatives to come to Canada.

1. How much time will it take to apply from Denmark (Germany office)
under skilled class?

2. I have my own company and wondering if there is any other visas I
can apply to come and setup the business in Canada?

Basically, I do not want to come for 90 days (visa waiver) and leave
in the middle of the business set-up ordo the back and forth trips
from US.

Can I and one of my employee come to Canada on any other visa and set
up the buisness here which will let us stay longer than 90 days?

Thanks

Default Re: Visa options

1. About 18 months

2. Not really. It will be rather difficult to get work permit if you are the
sole owner/operator (if this is the case) of your business in Denmark, but
if there are other owners and/or employees who may continue operation of
company in Denmark then you may try to get work permit under GATS for
establishing Canadian subsidiary. But don't try it without assistance of
experienced in such matters immigration expert.

3. There is no "90 days waiver" - it is US law, not Canadian one. You may be
admitted to Canada for up to 6 months.

4. see # 2 above. You may email me directly for further assistance.
