Quick Question ...
Got the Visa in my passport but someone here in Canada said you should get your permanent resident card in the mail ... what the hell are they talking about. Do I need to apply to be a permanent resident? How do I do it?
What I have in my passport a Canada Visa my category is IM-1 Immigrant ... what do I need to do now?
BTW have a Happy Thanksgiving!

When you land you become a PR. They ask you for an address and then you receive a card acknowledging your PR Status. Until then you can use your Copr as proof.
