Default Veterinary work and Medical Exam

After around 7 years of being on this forum, my wife and I are finally making the move to Canada. I've been offered a job in Toronto and we've both secured places on IEC for 2015. One question I do have is whether my wife will need a medical. She works as a Veterinary Nurse in the UK and would be looking to continue as a Veterinary Technician in Ontario.

From what I've read she would only need a medical to work in a healthcare job in close proximity with people, not animals. Can someone put my mind at rest about this?

IMHO no medical is required if working as a vet technician

Read this link for medical exam in relation to certain jobs
