Hi Everyone!

I'm confused about my validity of stay here in Canada and i need your expertise to
this matter to clear off everything.

Visitor's Visa Information: Date of Issue : Dec. 3, 2001 Expiry Date : March 3, 2002
No of Entries : 1 Category : V1

Date Arrived in Canada : Jan 26, 2002

The Immigration Officer just stamped my passport and it doesn't show any information
about my validity of stay.

The Canada stamp just shows the ff. information: Canada Customs 263 26 JA 2002
V.I.A/A.I.V 821

Can anyone tell me the validity of my stay here?

I appreciate your help and quick response.

If there is no shorter period of stay written/stamped in your passport by admitting
immigration officer then you may stay for up to 6 months in Canada.

Would that be six months "per visit" or six months "per calender year"? For example,
what if someone visited Canada in June and stayed until August, then came back in
November and stayed until April. Would this be a valid visit?

It is up to 6 months per visit, unless shorter admission is granted by immigration
officer at the port of entry.
