Default Urgent Help

I have received a letter from High Commission of Canada (London). Designated Immigration Officer wrote that I do not meet the requirements for immigration. The reason for this was that (according to them) they sent me a letter on 30 June 2008 and asked me for an update information, but the truth is that I never ever received any letter.

How could I prove that I never received any letter? I have all the information ready which they asked me in previous letter (which I never received). What should I do? Guys, I really need your help and advice. Has someone experienced this? Please reply as soon as you read this.

I am completely devastated, really need a good advice.

Many Thanks

Ali

Hi
I really feel for you. You need to write to them saying that you did not receive a letter re updates, and offer to send what they require. I would e-mail a case specific enquiry to them and follow it up with a registered letter to be sure that they get it.
Good luck

In fact I would send them the stuff they need now and ask them to note that you did not receive their letter of June date. They are just looking to simplify their life by refusing applications as quickly and easily (for them) as possible.

Hi Ali,

How strange!!!! Just read your post and my wife and I are in exactly the same position as you! I just started a thread asking for help as we replied to the designated officer who has today replied basically saying the decision is final and our file is closed .

Did you reply to them and have you had a reply yet? I'd be interested to know if you've got anywhere with it.

Regards,
Andrew

I am really sorry to hear your bad news and do not know the answer. However, are you not within your rights to ask for a copy of the letter they sent to prove it was even sent out?

Sure they could fake one but that would be fraud and I doubt they are that desperate to close a case they have not even started processing.
