Hi again. I was thinking about your situation. And I can't get one
thing. If you were working well for Nokia why at all you had to quit
this company because of your move to Canada? I've been in contact with
Nokia people (even managers from R&D) and they always seemed to me
open, friendly and nice people. You could simply be transfered to a
Nokia branch in Canada, I think, without any problems.

Even more, I just found one open positon at Nokia in Vancouver

with your skills you really can't miss it (it's C++).
Good luck.

Believe me, before we came to Canada I had tried to arrange a transfer or something like that but with no success, I remember there was a hiring freeze at that time at Nokia (and other big companies too). They even shut down their R&D centre in Ottawa (less than 1 year after they announced big-big plans with it).
Anyway, thanks for drawing my attention to this job posting, if anything good happens, I'll buy you a beer or two :-)
