TWP Renewal
 

Hi All from a not-so-snowy NS :) (well not yet anyway, hoping Christmas Day)

We got our TWP in November 2021 on the "Start-Up Visa" program and submitted PR online (in the online portal in Jan 2023). Moved to NS and arrived March 2022 (crumbs doesn't time fly). I am in the process of renewing the TWP and open work permit for my wife, and study permits for my 3 kids.

Is it just me, or is it extremely hard to go about renewing a TWP online? I followed "https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/permit/temporary/extend.html" and "https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/permit/temporary/extend/apply.html" which I am simply extending, not making any changes nor need any changes to the TWP/OWP/Study ones.

But following that above, you go back to login for the original TWP application page of "https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/mycic/home" where you see your online account, my existing ones for my wife and I are there, but, no where is the option to renew/extend. I can view my existing applications, at the bottom, I have "start an application" which has no option to "extend" or "renew"?

So now totally lost - any help would really be appreciated :)

Also, I just noticed another forum user got their PR in 2 months, the "ticker" shows at last check 39 months, and I have had our ones in for near 11 months, my SUV program finishes this month, it mentions that this shuld not change anything, but, has there been any other forum users with PR quicker than the ticker?

**bump** A different question apart from the ones above, have the IRCC face-to-face offices started to re-open after the covid shutdown? I am in NS, so it would be the Halifax office. Thanks for reading and any help offered :)
