Default TWP and FSW

Hi, just looking for some info...if anyone knows.

We have applied for a FSW1. Can we also apply for a temp work visa to enable my wife to work earlier.

If it is possible what will happen to our FSW application, would I have to change address for them etc.. to one in Canada where we would be living.

Thanks for any help.

You can certainly apply for a Temporary Work Permit, assuming of course that your wife has a job offer and LMO.

And yes, you'd just advise CIC of your change of address, the same as if you moved in the UK.

HTH, good luck.

You can certainly move with her (and would get a Spousal Open Work Permit off the back of her TWP) but if you wanted to study you'd need a study permit.

Have just seen your signature, looks as if you'll have just scraped in before the quota filled, phew! Well done.
