twp at border
Hi all,
I'm planning to get my TWP at the border crossing at Coutts AB (will enter the US for a day shopping in Great Falls) has anyone done this recently- what should I expect, should I complete the application for a work permit (which form) before I re-enter Canada and present it to them at the border, will I need to have signed photos, proof of funds, references etc etc
thanks

We did our TWP in BC in Feb. You don't need to fill in any forms but you will need the following:
LMO approval letter
Job Offer Letter/Contract
Resume (just incase)
all I was asked for LMO and my passport. Others have said about police certs and proof of funds but im 99% sure you don't need them. The LMO/job offer negates the need for proof of funds and the police certs are only needed for PR applications.

Take any proof of your qualifications if you can. I was put through the ringer when I went down for mine. Good luck!
