Sorry to hear you are still waiting,

CIC seem to have stopped the TWPs at the moment unless no one is putting them on here ?

Hope you here soon, try and keep busy, hope you hear soon,

Brave or mad i'm not sure yet, will let you know when i get to other side!

Have booked with Air Canada, they seemed to be the best deal for the dates we wanted, and we are flying from Dublin, Canadian Affair seemed good as well, if we could have gone other dates they had some good prices from Manchester to Calgary.

All the best with the move Anne

Another week draws to a close and still no sign of the TWP. :curse: Why does it take so long to rubber stamp an application?

Has anyone received a TWP over the last couple of days? Seems to have gone horribly quiet. Surely they can't be breaking up for Christmas already

HI Gibsonslanding and all

Is there a risk with just going for TWP at POE? We have been waiting seven weeks now and OH just wants to get out there.

What is the proceedure for TWP at POE? Any risks of not being allowed into Canada and being sent back?

Thanks

Interesting to discover that other people are not recieving their TWPs. My application for a TWP is nearing the six month mark now and has taken so long that I have just been told I will recieve PNP residency visa now rather than TWP. High Commision in London seem very keen to close my temp file.....really feel for people who are waiting for TWP.

Hi Ross Family;
Not sure about risks, but having done some research on threads, it seems that most people are getting their twp, we spoke to guy who organised our job for oh, and he said to have all paperwork to hand in folder so if they ask for something you have it too hand. On saying this though, most people only seem to asked for lmo and job offer letter.

We are gonna go for it, taking a bit of a chance especially as we are travelling with 2 small kids, will just give them a nice smile and try the irish blarney on them, works every time.

If anyone is interested im watching the irish being thrashed by the all blacks, though we did beat canada earlier in week

Take care Anne

Hi all

We don't know what to do as OH would be flying out on his own with us coming out in Feb. Reading the Wiki would seem that we would have to take all our paperwork and copies of his LMO etc with us. Also what if he does fly and his TWP turns up? Can the rest of us use this for our entry?

Thanks
