Default TWP activation

Quick possibly silly question but I have an LMO on the way through my employer and during the application for the LMO etc we were always putting 14th March as my contract start as my IEC visa expires on the 13th, I've just booked flights going to Seattle on the 13th then returning to Canada on the 15th, is activating the temporary work permit a day later than we put on the forms an issue?

Could you clarify whether you actually have the LMO or are just hoping it comes through before March 14th? Just that I don't think the starting date your employer put in the application has any strong connection to when it might be approved.

It won't be an issue, but as Novo said, do you actually have the LMO in hand? If not it's a bit early to have booked flights!

That's great thanks for the reassurance, and sorry yes I should have made that more clear, I do have the LMO (well the office manager does) I had a look through it and all seemed fine, I was just having one of my usual worry episodes when i remembered that when we were doing the application, employment contract etc we kept putting the 14th then I was like oh no I wont actually be arriving till the 15th.

Also just another quick question while on a TWP can you get a wage increase without a new LMO application with your new proposed wage?
