How long are these usually issued for? Is it down to the employer or CIC?

Also how easy is it to get an extension on a TWP?

Hi you can get a TWP issued for 1, 2 or 3 years. You can also extend your stay and I have put the link to the CIC website page that talks about this in case you have not read it already.
