Default Tips for minimising processing time - Spousal Sponsorship

Hi all, another quick question regarding spousal sponsorship, which for a number of reasons I'm trying to get as quickly as possible. I'm a US/UK citizen living in the UK with my Canadian wife and baby.

I see a wide variation in processing times, even in the same processing office, when reviewing the incredibly helpful spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=396125530

Is there anything that tends drives the quicker responses, beyond having the application completed correctly? Are there good tips to keep things at the faster end of the spectrum?

Not really. Things that are likely to result in a longer processing time are country of citizenship (those from high fraud countries i.e. Pakistan, will generally take longer), background checks etc. Nothing that's in your control really.

One thing I would say, is don't compare your timeline to others - madness that way lies! 6 months seems to be about the norm for UKC's, but don't worry if yours is different from that.

Good luck.
