Has yours returned?

I really do need to stop my obsessive ECAS watching.
Kaye, ours has not returned yet, and we have checked it about 5 times a day since it went offline

From LOA being approved, everyone as I understand it (PNP applicants) are treated the same once your PR application is submitted, at a guess and depending if you are a UK Citizen or from an other country processed by London, will be a major factor in your processing time. If you are a UK applicant and your application does not have any delays it should take around 6-8 months from your application reaching London to issue of COPR, this is in my own opinion having followed others time lines.

Andrew

Hi,

as you where told before in the other thread, the best way is to check out the different timelines posted in the signatures.

Under the old regulations it took us 7 months to receive the LOA, thanks holiday season, that was a good one.

Under the new regulations, however, there is just no such experience.

Processing time for provincial nominees can be found here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/informa...provincial.asp

One thing you should bear in mind: the whole immigration process is a lesson in patience.

In other words: it's done when it's done when....

Best regards

Hi, thanks for your input, but as far as I know, I do not know of any UK citizen PNP application processed in London, that has taken more than 12 months before the issue of COPR. I have had 2 email replies from London VO stating that the processing times for UK PNP applications are 6 months from when the application arrives in London (Provided there are no problems with the application). The UK High Commission website also states 6 months processing time for PNP applications. Granted some other applications from outside the UK that are processed in London do take longer and these are the ones that add to the times as stated on the CIC website, but most UK citizens PNP applications are fairly straight forward.
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca...nt.aspx?view=d

The only thing I can think of that makes the CIC processing time estimate of 24 months, is all the outside of UK applicants that London deal with:
Channel Islands, Denmark, Falkland Islands, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom ,Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen, for federal economic immigration only
Pakistan, for ALL economic immigration applications (Lots of Pakistan applicants)
So I am hopeful that I will have my COPR by September this year, providing medicals and background checks are ok.

Regards

Andrew

The whole process from nomination to (PR cards) can take 12 to 18 months or even longer as not everyone's case is straightforward . Check people's signatures for timeline

No problem at all . It is a little bit different for everyone as Vettemaster has said also. I began applying to MPNP for exploratory visit in about May 2011 and had my exploratory visit in September 2011 and the rest is waiting, sending paperwork, having medical and lots more waiting and then you guessed it...more waiting . Then one day, out of the blue, its done (Jan 2013), however, then comes the part known as preparing to move and all of the associated madness Haven't gotten any further yet, therefore....To be continued......

Good luck with your application, I hope it goes through smoothly and quickly for you .

Stop stalking the postman . Its time to turn your attention to the computer and stalk your email - thats how mine arrived . The postman will be truly relieved when you get it through, I expect you will run out and kiss him and tell him he has passed the test and is now free to go forth in conquer!!! (or maybe just get a different job so he can recover ), Something has to happen soon for you
