Timelines etc for WP --> PR
 
I was just curious to see if there are many of you going through the process of applying for PR while in Canada on a temporary WP right now. And interested in the timeline and tasks involved.

We've been in Canada for a few weeks now, and once we are in a more stable position (moving tasks are still in full swing!) will contact a lawyer to look at the best way of going about PR.

Is anyone going it alone (i.e., not using a lawyer)? If so, how are you finding it?

My biggest worry is getting all the security checks done, as I'll need them from three different countries. :ohmy:

The last time someone posted on this I think that they said it was around the 12 months mark
