I will happily add you to the spreadsheet tomorrow. Mississauga is relatively new and is standing in for backlogs in both Ottawa and London. They did this once before in 2014 when Mississauga were very quick. Who knows this time, but IMHO I would sooner be in a Mississauga line than a chronic London backlog!

Got the notary letter from my Sponsors parents now, so my application is close to being submitted and sent. Just a question on photos as part of the applicant, are the passport both photos you can get in England okay? The £6 for 6 ones?

finally my wife landed on Oct 18 at Pearson International. it took us about 1.5hr from immigration to Custom clearance. The delay was due to long queue and it all went smoothly.
A big thanks to every one on this website and their helpful advice.

We've finally heard something since being assigned to Mississauga end of Aug. Got a message asking for 2 additional police certificate - Switzerland and Belgium, does anyone have any experience of how long either of those take?

Hi all, we sent our spousal sponsorship application on September 4th, post office confirmation says it was received in Mississauga on September 12th although we didn't see the form to get the text confirmation until afterwards.
It says online that you will receive a letter confirming receipt of application, then another letter confirming sponsorship approval. We have not received anything yet so just wondering how long it took for people to get the initial letter?

We've asked the same questions as EngCan above, really struggling to find this information on the linked spreadsheet, we just want to know how it takes from when forms are received to when we get an acknowledgment, it has been a week now.

We have checked the spreadsheet, and the first date after application revieved is sponsor approval. There appears to be no date for a letter acknowledging receipt of application.
Unless I am missing something?

Have a look in the 'Notes' column - acronym 'AOR' or 'AOR1' is used (where the person has advised us - not everyone does).

Thanks for that - see that now! In a strange twist of fate this afternoon we actually got the acknowledgement email.
