That is what the spreadsheet is for. Have a look at other applications where sponsor approval took place around the same time as yours and were sent to London (on both the 2016 and the 2015 tabs) - you will see that everyone else is in the same boat (i.e. no one with a later sponsor approved date has yet had the final decision made and there are several with earlier SA dates that are still waiting).

I am in the same boat as you, albeit a few months behind in the 'London queue'. If I were you, I would start to get worried when others with a later SA date start getting the final decisions if you haven't. My guess is that you might be looking at a month or two yet!

Also be aware that because you are non-visa exempt your average might be slightly higher than visa-exempt applications. It's not necessarily the case, but simply a fact. Some people who are non-visa exempt have had quick/average applications (gotocanada - 278 days; hs64 - 223 days; sdh 122 days) but lots also take WAY longer (Telia - 343 days; tony000 476 days; Mary23 on the 2014 tab a whopping 845 days!... plus lots from 2015 still waiting) so it's a bit harder to rely on the 'average' there. At only 8 months I would guess you still have at LEAST two more to go... watch the non-visa exempt applicants in 2015 to get an idea, there are 4 on the spreadsheet still outstanding. There is also another spreadsheet in the PK thread on CanadaVisa that has way more data on PK applicants through London so it might give you a better idea.

Hope that helps!

Hi all,

Can someone clarify for me please that being deemed common law in NS is living together for 1 year and not 2? Me and my gf are going to go down that route but read somewhere with conflicting info.

Thanks.

Who cares what NS thinks its what the Federal Govt says for Immigration purposes and that is cohabitation for over 12 months to qualify as common law.

Hi all!

Just a wee retrospective update for the spreadsheet that I must have forgotten to flag up:

PA 'In Process' on ECAS: May 27th 2016

Thanks!

That happened to me too!

Nothing has happened to our applications yet. The ECAS system has just been updated to show those with sponsor approval already the 'in process' has been changed to "decision made' in that column. It happened to lots of people yesterday.
