re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland
With your UCI number does ECAS give you any info? Why not wait until your MP comes back with an update before you withdraw the app? There has been a few applications which take longer than expected for sponsor approval. I know it must be horrible but withdrawing and resubmitting will add on longer than waiting another month.
They should return your application package, but I am unsure about the fees.

Hope I do get my $1,300 back otherwise I've basically just been conned out of my hard earned cash as well...

I'm with Andrew. Don't withdraw yet. I actually am wondering if your application was filed inland instead of outland. Don't withdraw until you hear back from your MP. Something's up here, but it's not a lost cause yet.

Equally I would urge you not to withdraw. In line with a couple of the recent posts, Our Sponsorship approval took 143 days, it was longer that expected but it still happened. Our ECAS is still stuck on Application received but we know things are progressing and also Divvym1 the same thing happened to us - the email for extra information never arrived so they said they would post the letter to us. This is what they said but then a few days later they re emailed it to us.

BTW dilli, if they sent you a new request, your time technically restarts from the time they sent that request, NOT from your original application time... its the super annoying part, it's why people like lramsey and tohers have way longer sponsor approval timelines. Don't withdraw.

Hi everyone - I not that hopeful that my MPs gonna hear soon or anything useful. Even they are surprised they have heard back as they usually get a response after a couple of days.
If may be misfiled Inland Schnooky but then what? It's not like the Call Centre or the emails are having any effect and anyone's gonna "oops sorry, here's your approval".
I hear you guys saying it took 100 days, 140 days etc but I can't wait indefinitely as unlike some people who's process took ages - mines not even started so we are gonna knock it on the head put this sorry episode aside and focus our attention on our lives here.
So in anyone's experience. Will I get my money back and quickly? Those fees will pay for many years of Sky Sports!!

This happened to me, I wouldn't withdraw they can move it over to the correct pile if this has actually happened it just takes a bit of patience.

As others have said.. Do not withdraw your application until your MP gets a response...
I never actually got sponsor approval until i contacted the call centre 3 times... The agent informed me and said there was a note on my file to say they never sent approval notice. ( no explanation why but it happens I guess)

I received an email today stating the application has been sent to Ottawa for finalization and to send a copy of my passport there, plus the passport sized photos. I think this means my application has been approved although the online system still only says application received
