Hi

What I meant was I was in england when my wife was in canada, and I sent my application to her to submit to mississauga. Once she was approved I travelled to canada and am currently here on a visitor visa for 6months. I notified CHC London of this but they have not confirmed my change of contact details.

Hi there they did request additional document but that was via a email request. If you look on the cic check application you can change your address on there if you have not done so. Not sure how you did change of address but i am sure if it shows on the cic website the canadian address all correspondence will be mailed (after postal strike) to there

Hi there the only condition is you dont let your status in canada expire. If you are at 5 months and not have your visa request a vistor extension. Hope that helps.

I picked up my passport today from the HC - thanks a lot everybody for all your assistance and support, very much appreciated and helpful.

I will be checking the site as often as possible and happy to offer advice where I can and share our experience with the process.

All the best to those of you still in process and awaiting news, keep faith!

Thank you BTownSardar.

Yes it was a quick turnaround fortunately enough. Indeed, hopefully you shouldn't be too far behind with yours now!
