Our First Post this evening...to celebrate receiving the exciting email to say we had completed Stage 1! Roll on London 
The whole process is amazing in how random it seems to be - it so difficult to know what to plan to do -oh well we will keep checking the email and typing in the UCI number!

Shudda doesn't have COPR, just 1st stage sponsorship, can anyone confirm this passport page copy thing, I wondered if Aperture is different as they are in Ontario, I don't know??

Its so easy to spend so much time in the forums reading about everything and anything. I guess we are excited to move. I take it 123me that Medicals received means they open the package in London?

Yes, I guess they have opened it in London, but that is all I know at this point. Signature, I think you go to your profile page and find it on their.

Question about COPR:
We just reviewed my partner's COPR document and it says his country of birth is England. In reality, his country of birth is Scotland.
All of the other details are correct--for example, it says that he is a British citizen and that the country issuing his travel document is the United Kingdom--so does this need to be changed?
(I'm wondering if/hoping that this is just one of those annoying circumstances wherein a computer believes that all the constituent countries of the UK are, in fact, England.)

ooooo We just received our acknowledgement email from CIC. I am so happy, I was expecting more towards the end of the month or the beginning of February. for smooth sailing for us and everyone else waiting. I feel sick with glee, and it's only step one haha.

Definitely seem to be speeding up! Only thing is now I feel thick because I tried to log on and check my status, and it says it can't find us. If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it!!

From what others have said it can take a few days before you can see anything on the system... I'm sure someone will be along soon to confirm!

You are probably right there Lozzy, just me being impatient, wanting everything updated minute by minute from the CIC! As much as I know that really that's not the case! Haha

It can take a few days, but also make sure you type everything in correctly.
