Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
GCkey updated July 2nd 2019 to say all passed and decision made.
COPR arrived today (July 3rd 2019) via Royal Mail!!!!!
So happy right now! Good luck to everyone else and thanks so much for this site!
One question I have is on the emailed letter I received it says to then get Canadian Citizenship: “As a general rule, permanent residents may apply for citizenship after accumulating three years of residence in Canada during a four year period.”
I thought it was 3 years in a 5 year period?

Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
I got an email in May asking for 2 photos and a scan of my passport. Then heard nothing until this week, when I got an email to check GCkey. In that account, I had a letter to read saying when I had to be in Canada by. I then received this in the post a day later.

Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
So today I received a letter asking for the following:
Police Certificate: updated Ireland police certificate This must be received at this office by: 2019/08/05
Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature This must be received at this office by: 2019/08/05
I understand they want a new police certificate as the current one expires next month (but still, a bit weird as it should be fine still)
But what about the IMM 5669?!? I already filled this out and signed it! And what about the "original signature"? Does that mean I can't validate it by writing down my name (per the instructions on form)
Any insight on this is very welcome!
Thanks

Finally have it in our hands!!!!!!
Thank you to everyone - I couldn't have done this process without all your help; you're all truly rock stars.

It's standard to ask for that and it's one of the last steps before they ask for photos - almost everyone has to complete an updated version. All you need to do is copy over the information from your original one, update it to the date that you are going to send it - so you will be changing the 'to' date, and any changes of course.

"Do not forget that some of the documents (e.g. IMM 5669 - Schedule A) are validated, so you must complete them and validate them before upload (Schedule A does NOT now need a 'wet signature'). " So, concretely this means I do NOT need to put my signature next to my name? It's a bit conflicting, I read almost everywhere that it IS needed to put signature on this form...

Siouxie Just wondering about what I read on the forum here as well:
