Received email from CIC today, asking for 5669E and Police checks.

Details about us are as follows:

Common Law Application
Sponsor: Canadian living in England
Applicant: British
Location: Both living together in London, England
Applicant sent on: 21st October 2018

Royal mail tracking said received on 30th October 2018

I did get a response on 20th December 2018 saying I need to fix something with application which I have emailed and sorted out.

I think that's everything?

Could someone confirm for Police checks do I have to do them for my Parents as well as my four Siblings whom aren't coming with me?

Excellent, thanks! I'm in Canada on a work permit, I assume there isn't any requirement for me to flagpole immediately once COPR is received, just so long as I land before the expiry date of the work permit/COPR

To anyone lurking around here: We have had a bit of a decrease in the number of people providing timelines... looking at the spreadsheet, there hasn't been anyone who has applied since November 2017, which I doubt is actually the case. We need people's information on the spreadsheet to keep it helpful for everyone looking at it. So if you don't have your info on the spreadsheet, please post your relevant dates and we'll get you added in.

Details below, if I can please be added to the spreadsheet;

I'm British, married to a Canadian Citizen, applied outland while I was living in the UK and my Wife still in Canada. I arrived in Canada at the end of October on dual intent while we wait for the decision to be made!

Application received in Mississauga - 23rd August
Sponsor approval - 6th October
Processing office - London
Medical requested - 10th October
Schedule A/Police check requested - 13th October
Medical Passed - 27th October
Review of eligibility in progress - 30th October.

COPR received in the mail today... what a journey (and a nice way to make it 1000 posts here). Plan to fly back to the UK for a long weekend later this month and re-enter through Pearson

Hi,

Update!

As I had spent 7 odd months in Oz an Australian Police check was requested on 28th December which I think we may already have said. That arrived when we were actually in Canada (less than an hour from Mississauga) so original was posted 27th Jan.

Request for photos and info confirmation came on 19th Feb and was sent to London on 5th March with an email coming and my approval showing on the 8th!!

Update - Decision Made - 15th March 2018
Will now be awaiting for our CoPR via mail.
Please note, received pre-arrival services letter in January, however then asked for additional documents for my daughter in regards to full custody court order which was originally submitted in original application. All was approved and now accepted.
