Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
So, not sure if here is the spot for this... but.... I got the 'Dear John letter' about my PR Card photos.. just about 60days after landing..... oh well... back to get some more photos. Not sure why the photos that passed for the PR docs didnt do for the card...
Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
We weren't asked for new photos for the PR Card......

George is on row 71 on the 2017 tab of the spreadsheet. He took 289 days to decision made and just over two weeks from DM to CoPR receipt.

Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
Got a message in MyCIC today stating that my wife is eligibel for Pre-Arrival Services? I am assuming this is a good sign? Still no definitive answer but does this usually come before a decision etc? Still crossing our fingers!

Seems to be issued shortly ahead of decision made

Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
When I use the Online Services to check the application status, it says decision made for the Permanent Resident Application Status....but nothing new on MyCIC. What does this usually mean?

Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
From the spousal sponsorship FAQs:
"eCAS has changed to Decision Made / MyCIC shows a Decision Made of 'Application approved'... what does this mean?
We get asked all the time about what it means when eCAS changes to Decision Made (DM), but eCAS just says "CIC will contact you with regard to the decision" or something similar... this is standard jargon. For about 99.9999% of applications on here, DM is positive, particularly if you haven't had multiple requests from CIC for additional proof.
If MyCIC shows a Decision Made status of 'Application approved', then yay, your application has been approved!
When will I hear about the decision?
Generally speaking, you'll receive COPR in the post about 2 or so weeks after eCAS changes to DM. Sometimes COPR arrives within a day or two, sometimes it can take up to 6 weeks. If a month or so has passed and you haven't received your COPR after eCAS has changed to DM, then drop CIC an email asking for an update.
In some cases, CIC may request additional documents or new photos before issuing your COPR, even after your online status has changed to DM or Application Approved. So still keep an eye on your email, just in case. This is usually within a week or two following the change of your online status.
CIC only considers COPR lost after about 8 weeks have passed since DM.
How will CIC contact me?
By post. You'll either get your COPR or a rejection letter.
OMG! I have to wait for something in the post?! Is there any other way?
No. You have to wait for the document to come in the post. CIC will not email you the decision, and the call centre will not tell you the decision over the phone. You have to wait."

Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
Hi all,
So the best info I could get regarding the 'NA' I have on the back ground check is this.
BG Check: Not Applicable (NA1)
Medical passed – (MEP)
BG Check In Progress (IP1) – R10 check is done here.
BG Check: Not Applicable (NA2) – Eligibility check is done here.
BG Check: In Progress (IP2) –
BG Check: Not Applicable (NA3) – Sometimes this doesn’t come
PPR: Passport Request
CoPR: Confirmation of Permanent Residence
So I'm guessing my next step will be in progress 1 as my medical was done last year.
At least I know or hope everything is moving along.
