Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen and my wife is a US citizen. We live in Canada and applied
for her Canadian PR (and work permit at the same time) on July 9, 2001 through
Vegreville. We received the work permit and AIP letter on Oct 9th, 2001.

Does anyone know what the expected wait is for her interview/landing at this point?
I've heard that the timelines are getting shorter (as compared to a year ago) but
don't know what they are. I have also heard that since hers is an easy case, it would
be faster (she has lived in the US the whole time since she was 16, and only lived in
one state so the background check should be easier!)

Thanks! Neal ([email protected])

If all was done including meds and police clearance, and no more = information
required, I experience times of about 8 monts total.
