Re: Timeline - FSW application to CIO in Sydney, NS
Hello
Following on from the credit card charge last week, I have now got my 120 day email.:D Time stamped, for posterity, 13.33 on 18th January 2010 on my email (which in my guess was pretty early morning for them). My heart rate was up just a bit when reading & re-reading the email. For info the email address that sent it was: FSW-Centralized-Intake-Office <[email protected] The email gave my reference number to quote in future correspondence (does this include ECAS eventually?) and a receipt nr for the credit card charge. My application was under FSW1 i.e. work experience on the list of 38 occupations. Just shy of 12 weeks by a day, but that did include Christmas & New Year. They are still churning through them so here's hoping a swift response for those in November now & anyone still from the tail end of October.:fingerscrossed: Bali :) |

As long as you explain this in the covering letter then you should be ok. You could always provide that employer's telephone number to show you have nothing to hide.
I had to explain that one of my previous employers no longer existed! Cheers Martin |

Due to have my second little girl in 2 weeks time - have to show passports for children so may have a photo of a 1 day old in hers so we can get this application off asap.... I can't bear all this waiting! We made a mistake on our first application too, first applcation was sent in September but it seems also of people do it! Julie |

Martin,
Is it only for the last 10 years or ALL past employment history. My OH is having MAJOR trouble with almost all previous employers. They dont hold records for longer than 5-7 years and he does not have all payslips. This should be fun....not:unsure: linsy That is a very good question. I could not find the answer to this before I submitted my file so I contacted all my previous employers I could and obtained letters from them. While the 38 list NOC experience mentions the last 10 years, the request for references appears to be open-ended! It is hard work, I know. Cheers Martin |
