Just really check correct NOC ( for list of 38 ) and that you have fully completed all forms or and collect your initial fee payment of course.
I understand it was introduced to reduce overall processing times at London.

Hi daisychain
Looking at your timeline i would think you could well receive your medical request fairly soon ( provided every thing is ok with your application ) , I applied to NS on the 28/03 and received my med request 06/09 , taking into account application processing times may have slowed a little with the number of new FSW applications yours could take a touch longer in overall time than mine.
All the best
regards
Joinerboy

Oh God, reading that made me even more worried. Does anybody know what email address does CIC communicates from so I can set up filters on my email? (I'm awaiting medical requests)

Sorry to have spooked you!

I have set up a "safe sender" setting on my email for the following domain:

cic.gc.ca

I do not know if this is the only email domain from which CIC sends emails but at least it's a start.

Cheers

Martin

Still no timeline, I am afraid. Have you added it to your signature in profile?

Ours was 'received' according to the tracking number on 28 Sep 09 but we have not had an official acknowledgement thus far. I am going to be pretty impressed if we hear anything by the end of Nov 09.

That sounds about right.

You may wish to add your timeline in "edit signature" on your profile so that it appears at the bottom of all of your postings.

Cheers

Ours was recieved on 1st Oct, while I was in the bank yesterday I thought I would ask if the draft had been cashed - I knew in my heart of hearts what the answer would be but though I would ask and guess what - it hadnt. I dont think we will hear until the new year my self.
