My own FSW application pack was received by the CIO on 17 June, 2009. As yet, I have heard nothing. It would be good to hear how other people are doing with applications submitted in say May and June this year.

Cheers

I sent my application by Parcel Force to CIO, Sydney, Nova Scotia on 16th June. I tracked on the Parcel Force website and discovered that they received it on 22nd June. This is 9th August - 6 weeks have already elapsed since they received it, still no 'acknowledgement' from their side. I will wait till the end of 8th week and if I do not hear till then, I will call them up!:frown:

I also used Parcel Force and tracked the delivery. I suspect that the issue is simply that they are receiving more applications. Others on this site appear not to have heard even though their applications were received in May so I think we simply have to wait I know how hard that is!!!

June 2nd to Sydney NS CIO although it records the Bank Draft wasn't cashed until June 29th.

Just need to know now if they send you back all of the forms you have already completed as my 120 day email requests all of these forms to be completed and sent to London.

Congrats Gaynor, we have not had the original forms back, we took copies of the forms that we sent to Nova Scotia, these we sent on to London, as part of the full application.

Think we must be the only people in the world who are not in a hurry anymore to get inital apllication bacK, due to a change of circumstances. A few posts back I was as desperate to hear of news soon. Had all evidence ready for the off as soon a 120 day email received.

Then OH lost his job! AE SW application no longer!!!
He now has to find another skilled job with LMO so we can carry on and so for us the longer it takes to come back from Nova Scotia the better!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck to all of you who are waitiing. I hope you hear soon.

By the way, does anyone have experience of using the drop-box at the CHC in London? How long is the queue/wait?

My guess is that you will hear in the next week, given my timeline. I am dropping my complete package of documents off at the CHC tomorrow.

feelin a bit frustrated with this immigration malarky! received a verbal confirmation from Sydney that our application was approved, was told written confirmation would follow, and that they had found our lost forms -still not got the written confirmation and have now only been waiting since Feb - aaarrggghhhhh.

Feeling left behind as we see lots of application after ours was sumbitted but positive outcome

If you have proof that they have cashed your payment, is it worth sending them another copy of the paperwork with a covering letter? You have probably thought of this already.

Got my 120 day email today....not bad under 2 months from receipt of application.

Better get my finger out now !!!

By the looks of the letter they're looking for the same info that was sent in the original application + photo's

Can anyone shed some light on this

I assume you paid your fee to the CIO in NS? Why is London querying the fee? Did you include a copy of the 120 day email with your package to London?

I assume Kate could mean the Landing fee , which doesn't have to be sent to NS which your initial application.
