It has been a bit like that mainly due to the lack of progress related information throughout the process (we have a 2007 application sitting there going no where as well - asking for a refund on that one once we flag pole).

Lots of good friends, family support and prayer has got us through. Having everyone else's experience and time lines on this forum has also helped (hence why people should have good time line signatures)

Dropped my documents at the CHC in London this morning

Every time I ride a motorbike in central London I remember why I hate doing it so much - beats the tube, though!

Oh, what's the current typical wait time for an AOR and then medicals (assuming we get through...) ?

Thanks

Ok so did you send IELTS to London with your docs or just a written submission as you applied before June 26. This is my final post on this :-)

I'm getting there with my documents so we are almost on the same timeline!

YAY!!! :-)) Thats what I wanted to hear, everyone kept telling me that i didn't need it but I just wanted to find someone else who hadn't sent IELTS to London on my timeline. I sent my application 13 April and got 120 day email on 30 July so was pre that requirement too. OK gonna send my docs as soon as I get my last letter from employer. How detailed was your written submission and what kind of things did you include? THANKS!! :-)

Our application sent in at the end of April and no word yet also. According to CIC they are currently processing applications received up to May 7th........should not be too much longer though.

Actually they have changed the date for May 17... Have you considered giving them a call and find out the status of your case?
