Default Timeline for application from Hong Kong

Hi experts

I have just sent my application for my wife from Hong Kong last month.
She was born and raised in Hong Kong and have never resided outside
Hong Kong. I would like to know the approximate process time for
spousal application with new application kit. Since Hong Kong is part
of China now, is it true that it will take much longer than before?
Please advise.

Jeff

From CHC website, it says from 4 to 7 months.

Did you received the AOR yet?

Acknowledgement of Receipt letter, anyway you should have it once CIC
approved your sponsorship.
Then they will transfer your file to HongKong.

So I guess you have to wait at least 4 to 7 months after you got AOR.

William.
