We sent our PR application using the simplified process 4 weeks ago and have so far heard nothing. The CIC website states
"The visa office where you applied will send you a letter when it receives your completed application and verifies that it is completed properly. The letter will tell you what you need to do and what happens next."
Is 4 weeks too early to expect a reply or is it that we should have heard by now and there could be a problem?
Also would I be correct in saying the letter we are waiting for is known as the AOR?(I haven't mastered all the abreviations yet).
