Default Temp Work Permits That Can Lead To Pernament Residency

Hi Everyone

Been lurking for a few weeks since we decided Canada was the way to go for our family, and now we have decided to break cover and join in!

So far, thanks to the helpfull reading material of all your posts and the very informative Wiki we have decided that Alberta is looking the best option for us via a Temp Work Permit

Now what we have looked for and so far not discovered is a list of what occupations once you have a Temp Work Permit you can then apply for Pernament Residency with?

We know for example if you are a truck driver you can get a Temp Work Permit but only long haul can lead to Pernament Residency, so what other jobs can lead to Pernament Residency, especially in Alberta?

If the answer has been staring us in the face then sorry for asking, oh and be gentle we are newbies lol

Thanks!

Al and Shelby

Working in Canada on valid work permit in any skilled occupation (Skills Level 0, A or B in NOC Matrix) will qualify as arranged employment for PR application.

Under Alberta's PNP some semi-skilled occupations in Skills Level C and D also qualify for PNP program:
