Hi all,
I'm taking the TEF in Manchester in two weeks. I'm not too worried about the
reading and listening part, as I've been through that before, but I'd like
to get some feedback about the writing and speaking parts.
What subjects have you written about in your TEFs? Can you choose between
different ones, or is it just one? Is the writing part made up of both
questions to answer and a short essay, or just an essay?
What have been typical topics in the speaking part? 35 minutes seems like an
awful lot of time to speak! ;-) Is it a kind of interview, with questions
answered and asked, like in the IELTS, or will I have to make a speech about
a subject?
I'd really appreciate it if those of you that have been through this, would
share your experiences - also whether you found it difficult or not, and how
much French you knew beforehand.
Thanks in advance!
