Default Sydney office: some questions, please.. advise

I am about to start the application process at Sydney Office. I need to clarify some questions. Experiences and advices are really appreciated.

1.Reference letter from employer. Should I send ORIGINAL? There are some confusions. As in the general statement, it required only police certificates to be original (Xylene add Ielts). However, in the checklist, it also ask work reference to be original. If I send original then, it might not be return to me.
2. Police certificates. Can I submit those certificates later? I have previously lived in several countries. I need sometime to collect them, but afraid if I waited until all being collected, the point might have rise. I need to submit it asap. Also, since I am living in Aussie right now (at least for another two years), when can I submit Aussie Police Certificate?
3. Any informations on how to obtain South Korea certificate? It seems to me that the immigration office will apply on my behalf. Is this true?
4. Can I submit my application by bringingin the document myself? If yes, any differences if I send through airmail?

Thanks.

You must follow checklist specific for visa post you will be applying through. If it asks for originals of employment reference letters then you must submit originals, period.

You must submit at least all documents required in the checklist (including police certificates) - failure to do so will result in either (1) having application returned, or (2) having application put on hold without processing untill all is received. Thus submitting incomplete application is a waste of time.

Thanks for replying Mr. Miller.

Could you comment on South Korean police certificate issue? In "inland processing" page I manage to find that I need to fill additional forms. In Seoul Office I found that the office will apply on client's behalf.

What can I do since I am not Korean national and not living in Korea. Sydney office did not give hints on this. Will Sydney office send information on how to obtain police certificate after I send our application? If this is the case, then police certificate is not required before hand.
