Hi,
I'll be glad to hear experience from anybody who successfully got PRs but initially diagnosed as having diabetes during the medicals. My concern here is to know if their illness wasn't a hindrance to their application.
FYI, had my medicals last week and I told the DMP that my FBS is 131 and undergoing dietary instructions; presently, I am in good health. I am damn worried about this coz it might lead to inadmissibility. Any success stories would be appreciated.

If they were successful, then it wasn't a hindrance.

Yeah, I agree with you. But what I'm trying to ask is that- did they suffer delays because they were advised to undergo medication and re-medicals? For how long?

My husband was diagnosed with diabetes type 2 during medicals. The doctor
gave some dietary instructions+medicines and asked him to come again for medicals after a month , so in all 1 month delay for us.
We received passport request after 2 months of submitting medicals and we received our PRs so no problem.
It do not lead to inadmissibility.
hope it helps.

Hi gkher,
Thanks for your reply. Would you mind tell us if your husband does have ailments related to diabetes during medicals? What was his FBS/FBG at that time?
Hope to hear from you again.
