Default Submitting copies of new passport - do we need to notarize?

Hi,

We have recently renewed our passports and luckily received our medical requests this week. I would like to ask your advise if we need to submit "notarized copies" of the new passports or are "non-notarized copies" acceptable to CHC (London)?

Thanks.

Hi,

We were in same situation and simply sent photocopies to CIC of picture page and front inside PP# page, signed each sheet.

No worries, no hassles, shiny visa is now nicely inside new passport.

Hi,

Glad to know that!! At least it will offload a bit on expenses and time since we will be updating three passports (myself, wife & youngest daughter). By the way, what do you mean about "signed each sheet"? Do you actually sign the photocopies or it pertains to the passport page where the signature appears?

Thanks.

We actually both signed each photocopied sheet. Guess it just helps a little.

I wish - haven't got a final moving date yet, can't book flights, can't plan temp accomodation, Nicky hasn't quit work yet, so all very tight on the timeline now.

Hoping this week & next week will sort things out to clearer dates and schedule.

Tres exciting, tho

Rich.

We're moving 8th August after I sort out the Work Permit. Does CHC London accept photocopies of passports and not originals? It appears that the copies don't have to be officially certified (e.g. by a solicitor) - is this the case?
