Default Studying whilst waiting for visa

Good morning all!

In August my husband and I will move out to Canada and wait for my Visa to be processed from there. I understand it could take another 6/7 months whilst I am out there for my visa to come through. I wonder though, does anybody know if I am able to study whilst waiting? I am interested in doing a teacher training course out there and wondered if I could already get started with that before the visa comes through?

Any ideas woukd be greatly appreciated.

You need a study permit.

Note that, if you do get a study permit, your spouse will be entitled to a spousal open work permit.
