Default A study on "Immigration to Australia/Canada"

Hi,
I came across this document that might help some folks around who are debating in their mind whether to move to Australia or Canada.
For me, it's done. What ever it is "Canada is my Home".

Good Luck to all with your immigration..
Jag.

OK - came here by mistake (should've gone to the Aus forum) but while I was here came across this post.

For starters - I'm heading to Australia.

I think that immigrants fare better in Australia than Canada because the timescales for the immigration process are that much quicker - and labour shortages identified by the various regions are addressed in a more "real time" aspect.

Am I correct in saying that the average timescale from application to PR grant is of the order of 2 - 3 YEARS? By the time this comes round (and the applicant is in a position to leave) - labour requirements may have changed.

Just my opinion. Back to the Aus forum
