Hello, I'll soon apply for a student authorization. Could someone please give me last
moment tips and advice how to prevent possible complications with it ? Should I
mention in application that my parents landed immigrants ? Will that help or make it
worse ? I am Israeli citizen, visiting Canada and applying for visa in U.S

Hi:

You have the onus of demonstrating an intention of studying in Canada only
temporarily. You must satisfy a visa officer that you intend to return back to your
home country at the end of your studies and that you have sufficient ties to your
home country to ensure your return once your student visa expires.
