hello folks! can u please help me with this? is the high commission strict when it comes to police certificates? because i've read somewhere that:
"Police certificates and clearances
You and your family members must provide us with a police certificate issued by the authorities of each
country in which you have lived for six (6) months or more since reaching the age of 18. Certificates must
be originals and issued within the last three months."
im concerned about the phrase "and issued within the last three months" as you all know, it's difficult to gather all the documents. i've lived abroad and got police certificate from that country already but have not visited nor lived there anymore. my concern is, that certificate might not make it in that "issued within the last three months" limit before i could submit all documents as i still await other papers.
do u think, the immigration officials are strict and critical when it comes to the submitted police certificates that are passed the "3 month" limit they say? thank you.

thanks Reghuraj.
but you see, i have not been to the country where i worked before. do u think they would ask me again to get police certificate from that country?
is it wise to ge another copy now before submitting the application or submit it and just wait for the high commission to ask me to get another new one?
again many thanks

If it is a year or more old, then you will have a problem. Best option? Get a new one.
