Default Stoopid 'n, confused! Police checks

Okay, so.......

We have to get our police checks done, and went to the local cop shop. They gave us some dodgy looking forms which seemed wrong to me, but I went along with it.

Then having searched on here about police check, I found a link to the Police Certificate.

Which one is correct?

answers on a postcard please

Thanks

Nic

Hi

My understanding is, that if you are applying through London that the SAR, subject access request £10 forms are ok if they have an issue date up until the 31/12/08.

After that they will only be accepting the ACPO check.

The above aside, they do say on their website to basically get the new one, but I think on the next line, they then say the old way is fine until the end of the year

clear as mud

I have recently requested under the old sar £10 system, as we are not in a huge rush at the moment, plus its a lot less hassle as you don't have to supply photos/certified etc

So the new acpo will have the same info as of the SAR Subject access request??

Are you saying the only new info will be your photo. so in all they are charging an extra £25 just to have yr photo on the cert???
