Default Staying in USA

Hi All

When a Canadian citizen goes to USA, they dont stamp or record his
entry to USA. So how long can a Canadian citizenship stay in USA (can
he stay all his life since they did not record anything).

Also If one stays lets say six months but on the way back says that he
only stayed 2 days, how can they verify the statment. What is the
maximum and where can i find more rules on the same.

Thanks

They don't stamp...but they do record information. They can even share
with Canada Immigration dates and times of entry to the USA if required.

Well, for one they could search your vehicle, find receipts etc. They
obviously have other methods too numerous to mention.

Contact any branch of the INS or look on their web site.

If they scan your driving license or passport then you are in the
system and expect you to leave in six months. Note that the CIC and
INS computers have been sharing data since 2002 so if you intend to
fake them out it could theoretically come out in the wash later.
