Statutory declaration

Hi All

I'm sponsoring my husband from within the UK. I'm Canadian and he's British.

I'm a bit confused about the statutory declarations from individuals with personal knowledge that our relationship is genuine and continuing. Does this apply to both common-law relationships and married couples, or only common-law?

Many thanks! Kathleen

It is most important for common-law relationships. If you and your spouse have been unable to live together then stat decs may be usefulas well as trips taken to visit each other.
