Default Status change? Inland spousal.

I am getting closer to PR (inland spousal). Vegreville are just waiting on my CSQ before they send me my AIP (the nice lady on the cic call center told me this by mistake).

Now, hypothetical question. My wife and I would like to start a family soon. If she was to become pregnant and my PR was still not finalised would I have to notify Vegreville? I presume not, I would imagine that only if the child was born during the PR application process. However, I do recall there was a question on one of the application forms which asked, "are you or your sponsor pregnant Y/N?".

I just wanted to get the lowdown just in case.

Cheers

Your child would be a citizen (born in Canada to a Canadian parent) so whilst the child might be evidence of your relationship, it's not relevant with regard to your PR I'd have thought... and the child is not a dependent who you would ever be sponsoring in the future. But what do I know, this is just a guess! Someone else will know for certain
