Hi all,
Could anyone please help me out understand this question when checking my eligibility for EE. I am pretty sure I qualified when i checked a few months ago. (Not sure if criteria has changed since)
In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation. (required)
I guess the its important for me to understand this question as I have 5.5 years or “continous” work experience in last 10 years, YET the EE eligibility checker says Not Eligible!
no relatives in Canada - simply applying from UK.

- If I switched from one company to another (same occupation) but there was a weekend or 2 to 4 days gap between the end and Start date. Would this be seen as a Gap?

Hello and welcome to BE!
I would suggest reading Christmasoompa's very helpful post in our Wiki = https://britishexpats.com/wiki/Quick..._by_step_guide
It could be that you put down insufficient funds for the size of your family, or your IELTS are out of date. (7.5 could be for 1 section - what were the rest?).. which would result in 'not eligible'...
(the website could also be glitching, so it might be worth trying another day).
