A couple of questions - did your ecas change to meds received before PPR, and if it did, how long after the ecas change did you receive your PPR?

Hello Liesl. Our ECAS status didn't change to meds received before PPR, and having just checked, it's still showing as "In Process". The last status showing is that the application was reviewed and processing started on 27.08.10.

So I reckon there was about a month between "In Process" and medical requests. And from "In Process" to PPR was just under 5 months.

Hope that helps. And good luck with your application.

Thank you

Hopefully it won't be too long before our PPR.

What I do find interesting is that some people receive PPR via email while others receive it via post. That means splitting my time between stalking the inbox and the postman

That sounds perfect. I've got dark brown hair and tortoiseshell glasses - oh and I'm a chap, in case anyone was wondering! See you in the queue!

Hi Robin

Just wanted to say congratulations on your PPR. We are also a 2007er and had medicals done in Sept 2010, so we are waiting patiently. We emailed Ottowa to see if there was a timeline and all they have said is 'medicals are in'. Do you think they will ask us for updated police checks? ours were done May 2010.

Thanks

Thanks......I look forward to having them to gaze at on Thursday!.

Some have said that they have been asked for updated police certs after 6 months and some, like us, a year. If you expect to be asked for them then at least you won't be disappointed if they do. I was prepared for the possibility so just got on with it. One can never tell with CHC!
