Spuse and dependent child (Please help Mr Miller or Mr Humphries)

If the aplication for spouse and dependant child is made at the same time
(same application)
can the spuse enter Canada without the dependent child and bring the child
afterwards ?

Yes, but if the PR visa expires for the child, then s/he would have to be
responsored.
